#60 – Building The Next Big “Ride Share” App With Rides For A $1.00

Early Life:

Su Sanni’s story is inspirational because he revolutionized the transportation industry by using his talents, despite the odds being stacked against him.

Su comes from a family of immigrants to the U.S. from Nigeria. After being born and raised in Brooklyn, traveling around the city presented difficulties. Not having a proper means of transportation in his neighborhood, he had to walk 25 minutes to get to the subway for school.

When he was young, the entrepreneur knew he somehow had to get around town. So, he combined transport ideas from his uncles and others with his school days to come up with Dollaride.

In two and a half years, Dollaride has signed up 200 vans and drivers and has yet to meet the demand for its services.
